Whooping cough cases increase

Cases of whooping cough (pertussis) reported to the Health Protection Agency (HPA) in England and Wales have more than doubled from 421 cases in 2010 to 1040 in 2011. I have a special interest in diabetes and I help organise diabetes services across the city. My interest include IT, DIY, dog walking and rugby union

I am from Scotland and graduated from Aberdeen University in 1987. Following my house jobs I worked in Australia for 18 months before returning to the UK and settling in Yorkshire. I joined SunnyBank Medical Centre in August 1993. I am one of the Trainers in the Practice, and involved in Appraisal work and also do acupuncture sessions at our Pain Management Clinic.
